Data Deletion Policy

Last updated: August 11, 2026

1. Requesting deletion

Account owners may request deletion through available account controls or the Ruligent contact page. Requests should come from the email address associated with the account. We may verify identity and authority before deleting organization data.

2. What is deleted

Subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute, tax, and backup obligations, deletion may include account information, organization records, API credentials, policies, approvals, audit events, contact records, and other customer-controlled data associated with the account.

3. What may remain

Some records may remain for a limited period in backups, security logs, billing records, provider systems, or records we must retain by law. De-identified or aggregated information that cannot reasonably be linked back to a person may also be retained.

4. Timing

We aim to process verified deletion requests promptly. Active production records should be removed or made inaccessible within a reasonable operational period, while backup copies expire according to backup rotation schedules. Where law specifies a response deadline, that deadline controls.

5. Billing and third-party providers

Stripe and other independent providers may retain records under their own legal obligations. A Ruligent deletion request does not automatically erase data a provider is independently required to retain.

6. Before deletion

Deletion may be irreversible. Export any records you are entitled to retain before requesting deletion if export functionality is available.

7. Contact

Submit deletion and privacy requests through the Ruligent contact page.
